GwynethGRILLSGwyneth Grills (nee Newman) aged 82 years sadly passed away at UHW on 22nd September, 2026 after steadfastly resisting the effects of her condition.
Beloved daughter of the late Walter and Rose Newman of Barry. Wife of the late Geoffrey Terrance Grills (married 1982) whom she lovingly cared for in sickness and in health, until the time of his death in 2024.
Gwyneth served as a dedicated Council employee for more than 40 years, after initially joining South Glamorgan County Council in 1974. Long-time member and Treasurer of the Townswomen's Guild. Gwyneth was an avid reader, caring friend and fascinated by the world around her. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Cremation Service will be held at Thornhill Crematorium, Briwnant Chapel on Friday 30th October, 2026 at 12 noon.
